Hello, I’m Elizabeth, an impressionistic painter based in Minnesota. My work is influenced heavily by the colors, energies, textures and emotions in my life. I paint in a colorful, lively, abstract style. I’m not as concerned with capturing the subject matter exactly as you see it, but instead, I focus on capturing feeling and meaning. Painting brings me peace, joy, freedom and an oopportunity to celebrate the beauty all around us. My wish is to be able to convey those feelings to you, offering a moment of happiness and a sense of self.

I owe my love of composing colorful art to my family and upbringing. Growing up, I was surrounded by a vibrant large family, artwork, and rich wooded forests and lakes. I carry those memories and appreciations with me, combining them with inspirations that surround me in my daily life. Currently, I paint in my home studio where I live with my handsome husband and my adorable cat, Jasper.

I create stunning collections that are created for multiple markets and carry a unique signature style that combines fresh color palettes with a proven salable painterly hand. My art styles can range from whimsical to sophisticated and traditional to modern and sometimes a nice balance in between.
